Welcome to The Bubbling Kettel,
and My Personal Collection of MPBT: Solaris Screen Captures

Posted Image

During the final days of MPBT: Solaris, I decided to take a comprehensive series of screen-shots detailing our old home before it's shutdown. Bittersweet as it was, I am grateful for having done the work. Many a pilot has taken and posted pics, and even video captures, of the in-game action. Yet, what about the place we called home for several years between multiple hosts? From the introduction rooms of the Starport, to the funny listings found with some of bars on the map, pics were taken.

Unless indicated, every area within a sector has at least ONE bar.

I found all of the old marik source material from fasa and lots of mech stuff, I also found on an old backup the FWLM logos etc from previous games, including an old recon rangers logo and some test buttons for website design graphics etc.

My Favorite find is a Logo I did with a Black Knight over a very well done Marik logo. Still have not figured out how to upload stuff here for sig file, may end up uploading to fb and trying to link to it or something.

These are screen-captures I made of MPBT: Solaris during the final days before it was shutdown.

Yeah, you'll need to upload them to photobucket, or other similar site, and then use the pic's URL for image posting.

<VDB>

Gentlemen,

You are both welcome.

I hope we can make this place as "homey" as Solaris was. Those were some special times, and it seems many of us have been living with those good memories into a 3rd decade :)

On my wish-list of old captures that should have been: The Marik CoC dressed as Snow White and her dwarves as we ran raids into the different sectors...all for the sake of having a good time.

WH,

I would as well. As old as the game is (was), nothing has matched what it (the whole deal) offered the community since....

Thanks for the support on the General topic. Hopefully we'll get some like minds on there and maybe get a game with some good strat depth and RP capability. Not holding my breath with all the ooh let my mech do this or mechs shouldn't do that but hey who knows :)

I wish I had kept screen shots of that era, but sadly I think I lost them in one of many PC upgrades since that time. Good times.
